This Fall Wedding Photography started at the base of Arapahoe Basin Ski Area at the bride's favorite ski run. Then we took the ski lift to the high alpine venue at Black Mountain Lodge for the ceremony and reception. The intimate, tear-filled ceremony on the outdoor deck overlooking the mountain views was perfect. The mountain reception was filled with tons of dancing and sparkler grand exit.
Christian and Elle made this photography engagement session a real adventure in the Colorado mountains! We started out on Lake Dillion on a boat! Then we went back to the top of the mountain where the big proposal happened! The scenery of the mountains and the lake down below were just perfect. Adventure engagement photography sessions are all very different but they all have a couple in love with an adventurous sole.
Rachel & Justin’s Elopement in the mountains of Colorado was a grand adventure. We decided to pick out three locations with three different mountain features. We picked out a spot above treeline, a mountain lake and a swift waterfall. All three put together make for one epic morning in the mountains. The altitude was getting to Rachel & Justin but that didn’t slow us down! We met up on the top of the mountain at sunrise to get the day started. A little pit stop along the way to get some more coffee and snacks then off to the lake. The waterfall location also had a grand dirt road that made things a little more interesting. Eloping to me is a celebration of love! They were officially married the day before with a small ceremony at home then flew out to elope and vacation in Colorado.
Kate & Hunter’s Black Mountain Lodge at Arapahoe Basin Ski Resort Wedding Celebration was a perfect day to share their love and dance the night away. It’s the best Colorado lodge to share the Colorado experience with your friends and family. Everyone joins the wedding celebration by jumping on the chair lift. They all get to take a scenic ride up to mid-mountain to the Black Mountain Lodge. From there, they can take in the high alpine views while they mingle and visit. Their greenery decor was perfect for the lodge setting. It brought the great outdoors, indoors to seal in the mountainous. I was super excited the gorgeous cake that made sure to have Violet on the top! Better yet, it was delish! One of the best high altitude entertainment features they included in their wedding was an oxygen bar! It’s the best thing to keep your sea level family and friends dancing! Kate and Hunter are a perfect match, they support and love each other tremendously. I can’t wait to see all the adventures they conquer together!
