What to ask when looking at wedding venues.

When you inquire about a venue make sure you ask these questions to make sure it’s the right venue for you and your partner.

  • Is your date available?

  • What is the maximum number of people?

  • What is included in the rental fee (chairs, tables, linens, ect.)?

  • Is there a food and beverage minimum?

  • What is the timing of the venue that day?

  • What time can my vendors start setting up on the day of the wedding?

  • Is there a noise ordinance, if so what time does it start?

  • Ask if the approved vendor list is recommended or mandatory.

  • How much is the deposit, when is it due, and is it refundable?

  • What's the cancellation policy?

  • What is the backup plan for bad weather?

  • Is there a cake-cutting fee?

  • Are we allowed to bring in our own decorations?
