Snowy Engagement Session | Beaver Creek Ski Resort, Colorado

Erin and Jared we're on cloud nine, they had just gotten engaged the day before and we're over the moon being in the mountains and having such a surprise the day before! You can see the images from The Proposal here.

That morning they had the opportunity to finally Ski and Snowboard together for the first time. I just love that they are the same as me and Matt one's a snowboarder and once a skier. I definitely find it to my advantage to have a skier with me all the time especially on the flats. Jared said how shocked he was that Erin was such an excellent boarder. It makes me really happy when the girls get to kick some ass on the mountain!

Erin had absolutely no idea when she packed for this trip that she was going to be having an engagement session while she was in the mountains because she wasn't engaged when she arrived. Jared was so sweet that he snuck her favorite dress out of the house without her knowing that he had taken it and packed it in his suitcase said she had something to wear. Because if she's anything like me and is heading to the mountains that means comfy clothes to snuggle by the fire after being in the mountain all day!

We started the engagement photography session snuggling by the outdoor firepit. Then we headed to a snowy Aspen Grove but along the way we made some time for them to two step. the path we found was so beautiful lined with trees and lanterns. This Texas couple knows how to two step, even on a path between the snowbanks! In the snowy Aspen Grove we trumped around in the powder and had a blast, it was the perfect mountain scene. Then to end engagement photography session we found some pine trees filled with twinkle lights that just look epic in bokeh.

I’m just so happy for Erin and Jared to make this Colorado trip one for the books because now they're engaged! Yipppeee!!
